This website has been created to spread the message of FASHION! We want to promote the free and unrestricted flow of ideas and information between lovers of fashion. Discover the up and coming trends globally here on this website! Shop at, for example, big budda japan, compete with other members around the World in a style war and associate with a style group of individuals from your favourite countries/styles.
At Fazoot we want you to discover new designers and street artists.

What is Fazoot?
Fazoot is a fashion community website where users can keep up to date with the latest fashions and trends, share, blog(l), compete in fashion battles/group style wars, meet people with similar/different styles create fashion groups of users, rate other user's styles, shop with trusted clothing retailers and brands, shop for unsigned fashion designers and street artists/designers, take part in competitions to win prizes, become a model, keep up to date with your favourite events and club nights in your country and around the world, sell and buy stuff eg. vintage and unwanted clothes in our bizarre bazaar, expose your best pics in the gallery with possibility of selling prints, work for us and much, much more....Fazoot also promises you, contrary to facebook, that all your personal information emails and photos will be kept private and not resold to commercial entities and governments, thus giving you the privacy and peace of mind you should get as your statutory right. All that is left now then is to join us and let the trendsetting begin. We hope you enjoy....


Who are Fazooters?
Fazooters have a distinctive personal style and love to show the world what they are wearing. They are slightly egotistic and vain but these are not the only good qualities that can be found in a Fazooter: A good competitive streak and a never say unglamorous attitude are strong within them too.
These people are responsible for show casing their style to the world, show everyone the trends of their city and inform everyone where they can find the latest clothes. They help diffuse style and bring all the newest most stylish clothes within reach of all of us.

In this section you will be able to browse through our resident artists and rate and buy their work.
The rating system allows us to establish the best work around, so please rate, rate and then rate some more!
If you know someone who is either a designer or an artist, introduce them to Fazoot and you will help them get the exposure they deserve.

Style Groups (coming soon)
This function allows you to join or create a new style team, befriend the people you like most and create a new style between you to show case to the rest of the world.
Compete for style supremacy with other teams around the globe and show everyone who has the style factor.


Style wars
No not an epic battle between good and evil but a show down between two users that want to showcase their superior style, talents or skills to the world. Join our users and compete to be crowned the trendiest of them all, because in the end, there can only be one!!
Upload your battle photo or video (coming soon) showing us what you are made of and let others decide by voting for or against you!!


Group style wars (coming soon)
Same as a style war but involving teams of users.


Competitions
Take part in our monthly competitions and win cash prizes, discounts and/or favourite outfits/gear in your favourite shops. Win also modelling portfolios.
Competitions are like style wars but with direct elimination (knock out tournament).
A knockout tournament is divided into successive rounds; each user plays one fixture per round.
Users with most votes from other users progress to the next round. As rounds progress the number of users and fixtures decrease. The final round consists of just one fixture, the winner of which is the overall champion.
There are 3 types of "Style Wars" and one "Make a model of me" competitions.


Bizarre Bazaar
Welcome to the Bizarre Bazaar, a section where we collect all your best photos, artwork and vintage/second hand clothes and showcase them in one big exhibition. This is a place where we like to look for talented individuals. If you are a Fashion Designer, photographer or an artist the Bizarre Bazaar gives you the opportunity to show case or sell your work. If you have some clothes or killer vintage you can also enlist and sell them.
Make this the place to inspire your creativity, come and browse the different categories and rate the work you like best.
Only by rating will we be able to establish the best up and coming artists from around the world. Only the rating system makes it possible to distinguish your work, so get voting, we want to see that talent....

Welcome to the Fazoot Forum, where we encourage people to share their experiences on Fazoot, post their thoughts regarding fashion and art and discuss all things trendy.


Events
In this section you can post up and coming events such as clubs nights, fashion launches, festivals, exhibitions etc. Just choose a date on our interactive calendar, upload a flier or a manifesto and let everyone know what's going on in your city.
If you have a venue or own some premises you can create a profile and have a homepage within Fazoot, with a space dedicated to your club.

Style Wars how they works
Style Wars are show downs were 2 users take on each other to establish who is the trendiest. To challenge a user you need to go on his homepage and click on the "challenge in a sw" link. As soon as the user accepts the challenge, for a week other users will be able to cast their vote. Users can access and vote for a Style War by going on another user's page or by looking on the list of all the ongoing Style Wars on the homepage.

To take part in a Style War it is easy

You will need to have an image uploaded and set on "it's for Style Wars" - you choose this when you are uploading a photo - Having a photo for Style Wars isn't mandatory however; if you don't set one Fazoot will select a ghost avatar for you.
You can upload photos by clicking on the "upload photo" link on your profile and setting it for "it's for Style Wars". One picture only per user will be allowed in a Style War. Every time you upload a new picture and set it for Style Wars, it automatically replaces the previous one.
The photo with "SW" icon turned green is the one that you are using in Style Wars.
A week from the start of a Style War the result will be displayed on the home page and the Style War will be archived in the Sw archives.
There is also a section called Style Wars hall of fame, where a chart of users with the most wins is published.

There are no restrictions on the type of photos you can upload (as long as it is of good taste! no rude or xxx pics) however being a style competition we recommend using photos that express your distinct personal style.
Furthermore if the clothes in the picture were bought or can be found in one of the shops on Fazoot, you can associate their links to your picture helping people around the world find the same funky clothes as yours...


Street snaps how it works
In this section you will find pictures by our photographers of different styles and trends from cities around the world.
These pictures are rateable from one to ten, so get voting for your favourite people and let's find out what the best street styles are.
If one of our photographers has taken your picture you can associate yourself to it online. Read the "search my photo/insert code" section further down for more information.


Browse Styles (style link on the top left menu)
Here you can find pictures uploaded by our photographers, by online shops and by our users. They are arranged according to a particular style.
Street style are from our photographers, shop style are from our shops and all the others are from our users. If there are no results for a particular style search it's probably because people haven't uploaded a photo yet.


User's Photo Rating
This function allows registered users to surf around any User's picture and rate them from 1 to 10. There are no limits to the amount of images you can upload and every photo (including your public and battle images) can be rated by other users.
To rate a picture go on someone's profile, choose one from their images window and cast a vote from 1 to 10.
The top 7 rated pics will be shown on a special chart on the home page.


Search my photo/insert code
Every month our photographers take pictures of people around the world. Everyone gets a code, they can use it to find their picture online.
Photos are uploaded monthly, if you don't find your photo at the time of visit we advise you to try later, as the photo might not have been uploaded yet.
The shops on Fazoot can also upload client pictures; they are associable by code in the same way as photographer's photos.


Manage my Profile
Click on "my profile" link from the my home menu on the bottom left to access your personal profile. It is a real interactive platform where you can manage all your activity on Fazoot.

It contains the following functions:

MY IMAGES
Upload your images and photos here. You can manage them with the options "x" (del), "p"(public) and "sw"(style wars) - green = function is on, red = function is off -
These options allow the functions of rating, participating in Style Wars and competitions.

MY BAZAAR
Here you upload all your items to expose in the Bizarre Bazaar(your designs, clothes, vintage etc..). You can manage them with the options "x" & "$". -green=item is enlisted - red=item is not enlisted-

STYLE WARS
Lists your Style Wars, ongoing and archived.

MY EVENTS
A list of events you have uploaded for the attention of the community. You can edit and manage the list.

Email and msg handling centre. You can activate this function when signing up or later on by updating your profile.

Style War requests that need accepting are kept in this section.

The system log out function. Always remember to log out from Fazoot in order to keep your information safe.




Is it free to join Fazoot?
Sure it is. You can sign up as a fazooter/designer for free and unsubscribe anytime by sending us an email with your request.
If you are a shop owner you can join as a commercial user, contact us if you have any questions.


How can i sign up for a competition?
Go to the competitions section and choose to sign up in a competition, then select the category you want to compete in and click on the "sign up to competition" link.


How can i vote for someone in a competition?
Go to the competitions section and choose to vote in a competition, then select the category you want and open the fixtures window.
the matches are displayed on the left, click on the "vote" link on the right and two public images will apear, click on the photo you prefer, your vote is now cast.


How can i vote in a Style War?
Go to the ongoing Style Wars section on the homepage and choose a fixture, you can vote by clicking on the "vote" link on the right side.
If you want to see more ongoing fixtures, follow the "more Style Wars" link. You can also vote from user's homepages.
Go to the profile you want and open their Style Wars window, if they have any ongoing fixtures you can cast your vote there.


How can i challenge another user in a Style War?
Go into a fazooter/designer's home page and click on the "challenge in a sw" link next to the user's public image.
A Style War will start when they accept your challenge.


How can i make a friendship request on Fazoot?
Go into a fazooter/designer's home page and click on the "request friendship" link next to the user's public image.
If this person accepts your request he/she will become your friend.


How can i add a date on the Fazoot events calendar?
Go to the events section and complete the on-line form or follow the "add date" link on your homepage.


How can i enlist an item in the Bizarre Bazaar
Go to your home page and click on the "enlist item" link at the bottom of your page and follow the instructions.


How can i delete an image?
Go to "my images" and click on the "x" link but if you delete a public image or a photo for a Style War however, you won't have an active photo to use.


What is a "public image"?
It is your main photo and the image other users see on your homepage. If you want to take part in competitions and have your picture rated, you will need to upload an image and have it set as your public image.


How can i upload a new avatar?
Go to your homepage and click on the "update profile" link and choose the upload avatar option on the form.


How can i upload a photo for style wars?
Go to your homepage and click on the "upload photo" link, upload a photo and set it for Style Wars.


How can i upload a photo?
Go to your homepage and click on the "upload photo" link.


Can i upload as many photos as i want?
There are no limits to the amount of images you can upload - in case of over uploading we will send you a communication to rectify the problem -
